After completing a degree in Fine Art and one year graduates studies Joe spent his early professional career as a graphic designer and illustrator for Ad Agencies, Publishers and personal clients.
For the past 30 years Joe has worked as a freelance illustrator for over 29 major publishing houses and Design firms. His work contributes to hundreds of educational, trade and mass market publications..
In 2013 he began to dedicate his time primarily to sculpture. Since then his three dimensional work has been shown in national juried shows, including the prestigious National Sculpture Society’s Annual Exhibition. He is a four year juried artist in Loveland Colorado’s juried “Sculpture in the Park” and his animal sculpture is part of the Vickers Collection galleries in Vail and Aspen Colorado.
For the last two years he has devoted all of his time to a series of one of a kind contemporary sculptures using fired clay, glass, wood, steel and reused objects.
